I was diagnosed with advanced prostrate cancer in March 2020. My treatment was delayed due to COVID so I was feeling fairly depressed when I saw Dr Das but with the treatment he recommended I am now in remission. All aspects of the treatment I have received from Dr Das and his team has been excellent and I cannot thank them enough

Following various tests and a diagnosis of prostate cancer I was referred to Dr Das for Radiotherapy treatment.
He explained very clearly both the pro’s and con’s of the treatment together with the possible side effects which he ensured I fully understood.
Following treatment, I have had two further consultations with him where he explained that from test results the treatment had been successful.
On all occasions I have found Dr Das to be highly professional and caring.

I was referred to Dr Prantik Das at Derby Royal Hospital in the autumn of 2020 by the Sheffield Weston Park Oncology Department. Dr Das offered me an appointment to see if I was suitable for the SpaceOAR procedure before 20 sessions of Radiotherapy at Derby Royal. Dr Das was very professional and thorough in explaining this procedure and went into great detail as to inform me as to what was happening with my prostate cancer with a Gleason score of 4+5=9 which is very aggressive cancer. I am extremely pleased with Dr Das, he treated me with great respect, kindness, he is a very fine gentleman and Doctor. I respect and thank him for his professionalism. I highly recommend Dr Das.

Thank you Dr Das for the way you treated me as a person and your professional assessment of my Cancer. Your prescribed course of Radiography was perfect and, as I write this, has completely cured my Cancer of the Prostate.

Dr Das had a clear understanding of all issues. He listened closely to and addressed all concerns.

He is a first author of a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals and also worked as reviewer in international journal. He has also contributed as author of Pocket Guide to Human Tumors and Cancer by CRC press USA.
